How to get here
When coming from abroad, or from Helsinki or Oslo, there are very good connections to Alta, Norway and Enontekiö and Kittilä, in Finland.There are direct flights from Helsinki to Enontekiö. The flights are operated on Thursday and Sunday. There are flights every day to Kittilä.

The distance from Alta to Kautokeino is 110km and from Kittilä to Hetta 150km. SAS operates to Alta, and Blue1 and Finnair to Kittilä. From Kittilä you can take a bus or order a taxi to Hetta. There is a daily bus connection from Alta to Kautokeino.

Train and bus
You can access Enontekiö and Hetta by train and bus too, if you prefer slow and ecological travelling. A night train from Helsinki or Turku is the most comfortable way to arrive to Lapland. There a daily train connections from Helsinki and Turku to Rovaniemi, and several trains per week to Kolari. The bus takes 5 hours from Rovaniemi to Hetta/Enontekiö.
